Outreach Education
People are also able to engage with the Over-the-Rhine community and social justice issues through Peaslee’s outreach education. Our educational staff and community residents go out into the broader community and facilitate presentations, panels and dialogue about community issues. These educational offerings can take place in classroom, religious, civic and business settings.
"The 'community immersion' organized by Peaslee Center had a profound impact on our alumni gathering. We were looking for something different than a typical alumni conference. With Peaslee's help, we found it. Engaging with community groups in Over The Rhine created engagement within our own community that I've never seen at a conference of any kind.
